Why a set list instead of random boards
Unlimited mode hands you a fresh board whenever you want one, which is perfect for a quick session. This list is for people who would rather work through something with a beginning and an end. Each board has a name, the set runs from easy to hard, and the counter at the top keeps score of how far you have got.
Your progress is stored in your own browser, so there is nothing to sign up for. Clearing your browsing data resets it.
How the difficulty is set
What sets the difficulty is how much each clue states. Easy boards give both the size and the shape of every patch. Medium boards give about half of that, and hard boards state as little as the grid can bear, so most clues name only a size or only a shape. Every board is checked to have exactly one path.
